I'm sure we've all had one of those days where you go to leave your house, look outside, feel like you should bring an umbrella, think twice about it and end up NOT taking it... then regretting it.
Lesson - ALWAYS follow your first instincts. I've found that 9 times out of 10, your first impressions are usually the right ones!

As you can probably guess, there are a lot of sketches in my sketch books of AO. Conveniently enough for this months sketch theme, some of him are in the rain!

It always stinks when it starts to rain and you have your hands full. Its times like this that a nice umbrella hat would come in handy! ...do they even make those?! If not, they should.

So I really wanted to keep going with these meager daily posting attempts, and have decided to dub this months sketches; "November Rain" As we now enter the winter months, November is actually my least favourite. Cold, wind and rain. Not a very nice combo of elements.

I think this is the spookiest sketch I've ever done! The winner of the Rex Bunyan Halloween costume contest will win this sketch as well!!... I think I'll actually colour it too.

Halloween is tomorrow, and it will be the end of Octoberbots! But I had a lot of fun this month doing these and I appreciate all the great comments and feedback. I'd like to try and keep this momentum going through into the next month with a different topic. I think I have one already.
In other news, over on The Life of Rex Bunyan I have a Halloween contest type thingy going on. I've encouraged everyone to comment or message me on Rex on Facebook and suggest a costume for Rex to wear. The chosen idea will have the drawing + an additional sketch sent to them in the mail. You have until tonight to toss me your suggestions!!

...T'was a black day indeed at the Bully Blacktron Factory, as everyone mourned the loss of Bully Blacktron #1053. He will be truly missed.

...The only problem with the new Ski-bot 3000 was that they weren't programmed with any sense of caution for danger.

In other news, Jeffery Johnson has just tested positive for the use of Nano-steroids. A truly sad day in the world of robot racing.

Not really an original posting today, but I've always loved Ed-209. I'm not a fan of the movie due to the violence, but the designs and ideas are great. Did anyone else have this toy?
