These are just some quick little sketches I did at work while I had some free time (which is rare). My good friend Will would draw these weird little doodles on post it notes, and I'd elaborate on them. What you see here is what I saw in those little doodles. They kind of look like a mix of my talented friends, Jake Parker and Thomas Perkins.... except, they'd probably do 'em way cooler.
In other news... some kind soul on deviant art sent me a link to an article - HERE. Kind of scared me at first, but I came to realize that it shouldn't really effect me at all. Green Lantern has been around for a loooong time, and who am I to contend that. Lots of people in the world have the same name, but still remain individuals. Agent Orange will continue to stand strong on his own. ...and who knows, this might even bring him some more attention!
Oh... and CHECK THIS SITE OUT! So cool.
Awesome work Rawls! Sort of reminds me of Thomas Herpich's work. The subtle colors are a nice change from the usual neon green colored aliens.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great work.

ReplyDeleteOn another note, my 4-year-old son loves your Agent Orange. Whenever he sees me on the internet, he insists on looking at some Agent Orange pictures.
