This is the newest music video that I animated for a talented Canadian artist named 'LIGHTS'.
I was graciously asked again to work with the same director that I worked with on the Meaghan Smith music videos; Roberto Schoberto. With his great eye for direction and colour we were able to pull this video together in an EXTREMELY short amount of time. I was also assisted by my good friend Dharmali Patel in finishing off some of the animation.
After we finally got the concept designs approved by Lights' management and Warner bros. music, we banged out the animation as quick as possible.
All the animation was done in Flash, and some still images done in Photoshop with animated elements over top (eg - still image of her face with animated hair). Roberto did all of the AMAZING backgrounds and all of the final compositing in After Effects.
All in all, it turned out great... but with just a couple more days for production, we could have made it amazing... but isn't that always the case?

Nice work! It amazing what you can pull off under tight deadlines. No dilly dallying over small stuff, just gut decisions and then action.
