Here is a little pin up that I did for my friend AJ Lieberman for his smash hit comic - Cowboy Ninja Viking. If you're into the comic scene and you haven't heard of this book I'd be very surprised. Now, CNV isn't exactly a "Rawls friendly book" as it has a lot of violence and swearing in it, so I'll probably never actually see this piece in print, but I was more than happy to do up this sketch for AJ when he asked.

  1. This is very crisp with a beautiful palette....

I just feel like he's about to belt out: "This--is--NORMANDY!!" Or something along the lines of what King Leonidas would say. :]

  7. Asvinda, verda, yergin, splergin'!

Vikings throughout time just praised this image.

"Rawls has done it again!" they cry. And I cry it with them. (literally. A tear just streamed down my cheek.)

  10. He certainly doesn't seem to mind getting his shots. Flu season shouldn't bother him much. Gorgeous post Rawls! He rocks.
