I'm not going to vent here on my blog. Just please go and read my review of the movie HERE, and let me know how you feel about it too. A sad, sad day indeed.

  1. Oh that's too bad. I'd had some hopes for that one. Some. I might say it's harsh to call M Night a plumber...but he's responsible in great part for this fail. He let us down.

  2. Shyamalan is such a hack. The more he uses his creative license, the more you want him to just put it away. He once said that he'd like to direct a Harry Potter movie, but they didn't want to let him do "his version" of it, so he's not interested. Good! The mere thought of Shyamalan trying to "improve" JK Rowling's writing makes me want to go on a massive killing spree.

  3. Well....I guess this is all we could expect I suppose. How the Harry Potter Movies are coming out so great is beyond me but, to destroy something that was practically written for film is kind of depressing. I love The Avatar as much as the next man/women and I had my doubts. Its kind of like the movie game complex great game horrible movie, great movie horrible game!

    Thanks for the honest review!

  4. The trailer looked so good... here in Spain that movie comes in august, so haven't seen it yet. Anyway, this year it seems like films eagerly awaited are disappointing a lot of people... luckily i work at a theatre and watch all i want for free...
    Sad movie review indeed!

  5. That was all of my thoughts put in words. You should post this everywhere you can to let people know not to go. Hopefully this one will flop and Then they can remake it in a couple years. Then maybe someone can make it the right way.

  7. man I'm sorry to say i had no interest in seeing the movie once I saw the cast they went with, I saw a lot more better and on you tube, not to discredit the actors, as the director is the captain of the ship, I was to big of a fan of the series that I knew I would not like this movie, may be in 10 years some one else will re-do it, but to be honest i did not really want to see a live action feature of Avatar, why can we just see a animated feature, well I feel for the 1 hour 30 mins you lost, love all these characters by the way

  8. Here in Spain we also have a lot of interest about this movie but it still doesn't be released so the certainly thing is that your works "a lo green lantern style" are absolutely fantastic.... ÁNIMOS RAWLS, don't be sad and look to the future!!! ;-)

  10. Yeah, I was hoping against hope, but all signs pointed to it sucking. I think it was the wrong director to begin with.
