INKTOBER

No, I did not draw that title.  And no, I didn't come up with "Inktober"  These are all thanks to my good buddy Jake Parker.  Jake's always a great inspiration to anyone that looks at his work and knows his character... present company included.   In case you don't know what Inktober is, you can check out Jake's recent posting HERE where you can even check out previous years inkfests.
Happily, I joined Jake the first time round and dubbed my month as OctoberBots, but sadly, haven't had a lot of time or been too diligent in recent years... but that's a changin!!
Since it's the 2nd already, I'm posting two pages of ink sketches.  I did these while watching Lord of the Rings, of course, as the wife and I are getting pumped for The Hobbit.
The rest of Inktober, I'd like to focus on things that I typically don't draw a lot, or personally don't feel that confident in.  Things like vehicles and buildings.  More structured things.  I often default to drawing things that are more "organic" in nature, because I find you can get away with a lot more.  But with things that are technically precise, not so much.  We'll see how it goes!  :)  So get your ink out and join on in if you can!
